Using Credit Inquiries ,ho....ho....

Usually I'm a person that always want credit line increases without a hard pull on their credit. However I'm tired of a dingy $1,100 line so when I asked the CSR for an automatic increase without a hard pull, she said they gave me a $300 bump last month already, so no deal. She then asked for a hard pull on my credit report and they would review it. I thought about it and eh, why not? My credit score will be better off in 6 months after the effect of the credit inquiry is gone. Bam! Instead of a petty $300-$500 bump, I got my line increased from $1,100 to $4,000.

So far I've gone from my first credit card 6 months ago with a $800 limit to a 3 credit cards with a $9,200 limit combined. Not bad for only 6 months of credit building eh?

Rape, corruption - what do you get? Celebrity.

Well, Jacob Zuma was the ex-vice president of South Africa before corruption charges forced our current President Thabo Mbeki to take him out of power - however, since then, his popularity has only INCREASED.

He's been accused of rape, which he was found not guilty for and he still has loads of corruption charges hanging on his head. Yet South Africa newspaper seem to be giving him A LOT of coverage.

I can't believe Mail and Guardian are actually giving him his own section with all his "news" reports. How pathetic is that? And the M&G is a newspaper I really respect in South Africa so this move is highly disappointing for me.

Hey, weren't you at the Funeral?

This place that i live is definitely too small a place as sooner or later you are going to be running into someone that knows someone or if you do something wrong then its sure to get back to the people that you least want it to.
Talking to a client on the phone i had the strangest experience when she stopped and asked if i was at my friends funeral last friday. I was a little lost and managed to stammer that yes actually i was there and that i ended up covered in glitter before going back to the clients query.
See what i mean, recognised on the phone for a funeral that i only sat in! Too small by far!

TV,More comedy shows please.

I was just flipping channels on the TV and I came across Married with Children. I haven’t seen that show in ages. Peggy and Al always cracked me up. LOL
This episode happened to be a particularly good one. I came across the show after the show had already started so I’m guessing that Peg must have entered a decorating contest. She re-did the main bathroom all in pink. If you ever watched this show in the past you might remember that Al liked his bathroom time. Well, he simply couldn’t use the washroom when it was all pink so he set out to get the bathroom back. On the day that she was showing the washroom to the contest judges Al loaded himself up with a combination of tabasco sauce, tacos, refried beans- the works, and while the judges were viewing the bathroom Als meal kicked in. We don’t know exactly what happened up there, but everyone ran out of the house. I’m pretty sure that I can imagine what happened. Ewwww.
Al got his bathroom back after that. LOL
This wasn’t the best comedy show but it was funny. I found that last year there were very few good comedy shows on TV. The only really memorable one that stands out is “My Name is Earl”. This year a number of comedy shows have begun and I hope that a few of them make it through their first season. I think we’ve been over run with reality shows, murder-mystery, medical and detective type shows over the last few years. We need to get some good comedy back in the mix. Our lives are stressful, and nothing relieves stress better than a good laugh. Ok there’s a few other things, but laughter works well for most.
What comedy shows do you like? Are you enjoying any of the new comedy series that have started this year?

Tigers Go Up 2-0 With 8-5 Win in Game 2

Today,Alexis Gomez thought it was a joke when Jim Leyland told him at a morning workout
in the hotel that he would start in Game 2 of the American League championship series. When
it comes to baseball, the Detroit Tigers manager isn't kidding around. In another great call
this postseason, Leyland went with the little-used Gomez as Detroit's designated hitter. The
result: Tigers are heading home to Motown with a 2-0 advantage.

Do your best!!Came on baby!
